The Philadelphia Orchestra announces auditions for the following position:

Associate Principal Percussion

Preliminary and semifinal auditions will occur October 5–10, 2023

Final auditions will occur October 11–12, 2023

Employment will begin based on the winner’s availability and The Philadelphia Orchestra schedule.

Candidates advancing to the last round of our auditions may be considered for our substitute list.

The application deadline for this audition was August 20, 2023.

In addition, please note that some candidates may be asked to submit a videotape prior to being invited for an in-person audition. Videotapes will be due Monday, September 4, 2023. The repertoire for the videotape round is below.
