Opening Night 2016 Concert and Gala

2016 Opening Night Concert and Gala

Friday, September 30, 2016
The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts

Yannick Nézet-Séguin has captured the hearts of Philadelphia audiences and we are overjoyed that he is dedicating at least the next 10 years to leading The Philadelphia Orchestra. He has planned an extraordinary 2016-17 season, and as tradition dictates, we will launch the new season with a very special 2016 Opening Night Gala.

This year’s Opening Night will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016, and the event will kick-off the season in style! This black-tie affair will celebrate a new year of incredible music-making and Yannick is hand-picking selections that will best highlight the talents of our Fabulous Philadelphians.

Please join us! Sponsorships are now available. To make sure you are on the invitation list, call the Volunteer Relations Office at 215.893.1956 or e-mail dbyrne@philorch.org
