Ancient Chinese poems shine in 21st-century orchestrations by exciting young composers from around the world in this special concert welcoming the Year of the Rabbit. To celebrate Lunar New Year, The Philadelphia Orchestra welcomes talented up-and-coming singers from the pioneering iSING! Suzhou International Young Arts Festival to perform the North American premiere of “Echoes of Ancient Tang Poems.” This program, conducted by Lio Kuokman, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Orchestra’s historic 1973 tour of China.
