This Philadelphia Orchestra concert dedicated to legendary composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, in honor of the 150th anniversary of the composer’s birth, features his melodious Second Symphony and his later Fourth Piano Concerto, filled with hints of jazz and the blues.

Lead support for the Rachmaninoff 150 Celebration is provided by Tatiana Copeland. Mrs. Copeland’s mother was the niece of Sergei Rachmaninoff, and Tatiana Copeland was named after the composer’s daughter, Tatiana Sergeyevna Rachmaninoff.
