The Philadelphia Orchestra Association reaches high note as it closes its 2010-11 subscription season

July 18, 2011

Stemming a four-year decline in ticket sales, The Philadelphia Orchestra increased its paid capacity by four percent and reached nearly sold-out status for 19 concerts since the New Year. Further, Philadelphia’s renowned ensemble has received in excess of $3.2 million in gifts and pledges from more than 2,000 donors in the past 10 weeks as part of its Annual Fund drive and “Listen with Your Heart” initiative.
