Philadelphia Orchestra Volunteer Committees Take Perfect Harmony Out to the Ballgame at Citizens Bank Park, April 17
While the Phillies are Away, the Volunteers and Musicians of The Philadelphia Orchestra Will Play!
(Philadelphia, March 23, 2015)—For the first time in its 13-year history, Perfect Harmony, the biennial fundraising event hosted by The Philadelphia Orchestra’s Volunteer Committees, will be held at the Diamond Club at Citizens Bank Park, home of the Philadelphia Phillies. The spectacular evening of music, culture, and entertainment features cocktails, dinner, and a special appearance by the Phillies’ own Philly Phanatic, all while overlooking home plate. Led by celebrity auctioneers Principal Horn Jennifer Montone and Assistant Principal Bass Joseph Conyers, Perfect Harmony guests have the opportunity to bid on specialty live and silent auction items, with many packages donated by The Philadelphia Orchestra’s own musicians. The event is Co-Chaired by Priscilla Holmes and Judy Foster Glick, with Honorary Chairmen Sarah Miller Coulson and Leslie Anne Miller, and features musical presentations by Orchestra musicians.
Each auction offers a wide array of one-of-a-kind items, including popular favorites—like a return stay on Hilton Head Island, a cocktail party with a performance by Concertmaster David Kim and second violinist Davyd Booth, and an outing for 12 in the Philadelphia Phillies Owner’s box—and exciting new items, like a three-day beach and golf weekend in Bermuda, a trip to Martha’s Vineyard, and a cruise for a party of 10-20 on Patriot Harbor Cruises. Please see below for select auction item descriptions.
